Our Mission

Our MISSION is to provide our youth with the opportunity to enjoy the cooperation of teamwork, the competition of the sport, and the value of improving skills through playing the game of basketball. The WYMBA is a supplement to the school’s program and not a replacement.

Our Philosophy

Our PHILOSOPHY is to provide a structured, enjoyable and learned basketball experience for all participants. Both recreational and competitive opportunities are provided.

Our Programs

Our PROGRAMS are successful to the degree that they allow the youth to have fun and learn the game of basketball at all levels. By doing this all players are winners. The WMYBA season typically runs between the first weekend of November and the last weekend of March. We are not responsible for any Spring AAU and Fall League activities parents of student players might enroll their children into.

Get Involved!

Get Involved Yourself – We are always looking for volunteers for our tournaments. These tournaments are our largest source of revenue which helps keep the registration fees lower. Areas where we are looking for help are building supervisor, ticket taker, concession stand, clock and scorer keepers. Just ask the coach or coordinator how you can help out at our next tournament.

We are also looking for dedicated individuals to coach our youth and to participate on the board. Come to our next meeting to find out where you can fit into our growing organization.
