Welcome Coaches!

Thank you for volunteering your time! Coaching can be a rewarding experience and is not without its own challenges. Below is a collection of links and documents that offer some great tools and mandatory certificates. We encourage you to take advantage of the information they provide in the hopes that it will better the experience of both players and coaches alike. 

We encourage as many coaches as possible for ages K-2. This allows the groups to be smaller in size to run drills and maximize instruction of fundamentals and work with each child independently, if needed.

At 3rd through 8th Grade there are two official and more dedicated coaches.  This is to help manage the team, schedule games, set tournament and Waconia league game dates.  The hours the two named coaches put in for 3rd through 8th grade will fulfill the 6 hours of volunteer obligation per player.

All Watertown Mayer Boys and Girls registered teams will play in the WMYBA hosted basketball tournaments.  Contact a board member with questions regarding our tournament.
